A quilter and lover of the barn stars that adorn barns throughout the Midwest, I wanted to design a hat that reflected my own love of these iconic symbols.

• 1 Hank of Each Color Freia Fine Handpaints Shawl Ball (3.5 oz/100 g ea approx. 430 yds/393 m, 100% US cruelty-free merino) in Oyster (MC, neutral gradient, 93 yds/85 m total used for one hat) and Big Top (CC, rainbow gradient, 87 yds/80 m total used for one hat)

Version III (Chart 2)
• 1 Hank Ewe Ewe Fluffy Fingering (1.75 oz/50 g ea approx. 200 yds/180 m, 100% Australian fine merino) in #99 Black Licorice (MC, black, 93 yds/85 m total used for one hat)
