The Barney Bobble Bag is a simple and fun crochet project that gets its signature look from the textured bobble stitches.

Barney bobble bag is perfect for beginners as well as more experienced crocheters.

You can easily adjust the size to your liking — just add or remove rows at the beginning, as long as you start with an even number of stitches to keep the stitch pattern aligned.

For the purple version, I added mohair to give the bag a soft and fluffy finish. If you want to do the same, remember to go 0.5–1 mm up in hook size for the best result.

The blue bobble bag, which this pattern is based on, measures approximately 20 x 13 cm.
