These fun and quick Barrel Stitch Coasters feature my barrel stitch. (See how the stitches look like little barrels?) It’s an easy stitch to master and creates a nice thick fabric when using worsted weight yarn.

This project is knit on any 3/8” gauge loom with at least 14 pegs (like the Flexee Loom Skinny Links, All N One loom, or Adjustable Multi-Knit Loom) and uses approximately 25-30 yards of worsted weight 4 yarn. This is a great way to use up that leftover yarn!

This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner loom knitter. You only need to know how to e-wrap knit and how to purl.
