The Barrington 5.0 is the double knitting incarnation of the Barrington Braid. Done in a DK weight yarn, using 2 colors, this pattern creates a reversible cowl in two different lengths showcasing the braid along the horizontal axis.
Gauge is not essential for this pattern within a 2” tolerance for the short version.

You will need one skein of each of 2 colors in the yarn choice you select for the short version. You will need 4 of each for the long version depending on the yarn chosen. All details are in the pattern.

The pattern also includes video support for tips and techniques for doing double knitting and using tools such as a knitting thimble (which you are shown how you can make as well). The videos are accessed through a password protected page on a website (you’re given the password in the pattern) or through YouTube via a secret link provided in the pattern.
