Basalt Columns are pretty fascinating. We were near the top of Sonora Pass when we hiked to a wall of Basalt hexagonal columns.

If you are ever able to, I recommend the hike from “Trail of the Gargoyles” to the “Columns of the Giants”. The beautiful geometrics almost look other worldly. And at that elevation, there are Ponderosa Pine trees that actually smell like vanilla ice cream. Seriously.

The Basalt socks have hexagonal columns on the leg using twisted stitches.
