In eastern Washington State, we are blessed with souvenirs of our volcanic history. As the lava cooled, the crystalline structure created huge sharp-edged towers of basalt. The stitch pattern of our sweater is reminiscent of the ancient lava flow and its importance to the majestic landscape we call home. This is a free pattern!
