Our Base Doodle Patterns are the first step in the Doodle Framework! Choose any Base Doodle Pattern, choose charts from any Collection, choose your yarns, and start knitting!

These mitts start with a simple ribbed cuff, followed by a section of optional colorwork. Work the thumb hole, a second short colorwork section, then finish with upper ribbing.

SIZES

Approx. 6 (8, 10) in 15 (20, 25) cm circumference.

Approx. 7-8 (8-9, 9-10) in 18-20 (20-23, 23-25) cm finished length.

YARN

Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged.

Sample uses 85% Superwash Merino and 15% Nylon DK by Fangirl Fibers, 100g 246 yards 225 m.

Yardage listed in total yards per size in colorwork due to the customizable nature of this pattern.

US 5/3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge

One size smaller needle for ribbing (optional)

8 in 20 cm circular needles, Magic Loop or DPNs
