Base socks
The Base socks are worked from the toe
up. The socks begin with Judy’s Magic
Cast-On and are easiest to knit using
the Magic Loop Method. The foot is
worked in smooth stockinette stitch for a sleek,
comfortable fit inside walking shoes. The cuff
features ribbing with small cables that peek out
just above the shoe line. The heel is shaped with
gussets and a French-heel–inspired construction,
and the reinforced heel flap provides extra
durability for everyday wear.
