Size E/3.5mm hook (or preferred hook size) (I commonly use my Clover Amour Hooks)
Stitch Marker(s)
Scissors
Stuffing (used in both designs)
Tapestry needle
Chopstick, dowel, or something similar to help with stuffing
Foam Pool Noodle and Duct Tape if you choose this design option (optional)
Worsted Weight Yarn (Medium, Size 4) in the brand and colors of your choice.
In this pattern I used: Caron One Pound in Lace and Off White

Abbreviations/Stitches Used
ch - Chain
MC - Main Color
Rnd(s) - Round(s)
sc - Single crochet
sc2tog - Single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
sl st - Slip stitch
st(s) - Stitch(s)
 - Work instructions between brackets as many times as directed
magic circle/adjustable ring

Special Stitches
As a design option, you can add some surface crochet on the handle. This is totally optional.
