Bashful Knit Lace Hat Pattern

Meet Bashful, a sweet little lace hat that shows off just enough. Soft lace panels are framed by tidy columns of baby cables. They rise from a snug 1x1 ribbed brim and carry right up into the crown shaping, so the motif never stops… it just gathers together at the top.

The hat is knit from the bottom up in the round in Universal Yarns Eden Silk, a DK weight merino and silk blend that you’ll want to keep squishing the whole time you knit. The sample is in Blush, which is where that shy little name comes from.

With three sizes and just 1 or 2 skeins, Bashful is a lovely one to knit for yourself, then again for a friend, and maybe once more because you can’t stop.
