asic Beanie is a simple and timeless crochet pattern (swe and US-terms) worked sideways, creating a soft and stretchy fabric with a classic folded brim. With three sizes to choose from, you can make a cosy beanie for little ones, children, or adults.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials Required:

DK / Light #3 yarn, approximately 75–100 g depending on size, yarn choice, and individual tension
6 mm crochet hook, or the hook size needed to achieve the correct gauge
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitch markers
Measuring tape

Gauge: 20 stitches × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 in), worked in slip stitches through the back loop only.

Sizes: Small, Medium, and Big.
