This basic beanie is a great introduction to hat knitting! Knit flat and then seamed, this hat will allow you to practice ribbing, stockinette stitches, decreases, mattress stitch and whipstitch for finishing. You’ll have a classic, cozy head topper when you’re done!

This pattern is also a part of the Knit Picks Learn to Knit Kit Level 3 - Hat. Get the yarn, needles and anything else you need to complete your first project!
