The boot cuffs/toppers are easy enough for a beginning knitter desiring to upgrade her/his skills or for experienced two-at-a-time sock knitters! A beginner can begin by using double pointed needles and knitting one cuff at a time; the advanced knitter will likely want to use a circular needle and knit both at once.

Boot cuffs are extremely practical and make wonderful gifts. One pair can easily be knit in a day’s time and two pairs can be knit out of a skein of yarn of approximately 200 yds. The pattern contains instructions for small (narrow) and larger (wide) cuffs for either ankle or calf length boots.

Materials: U.S. Size 4 dpns or a circular needle (32”+), one skein of worsted weight yarn.
