This is a sweater formula for any size. It has a boxy shape, a boat-necked collar, and dropped shoulders. It can be knit with, or without, sleeves and can be made any length. Because it is based on gauge, you can use any weight yarn.

You will need:
A tape measure
Piece of paper and a pencil
Yarn in a weight of your choosing. Yardage listed below is an approximate.
Worsted 800 yds. (small adult) – 1,500 yds. (large adult)
DK 1,000 2,000
Sport 1,200 2,500
Fingering 1,500 3,200
Knitting needles in the appropriate size for your yarn choice
Worsted US 7-9/ 4.5-5.5 mm
DK 5-7/ 3.75-4.5
Sport 3-5/ 3.25-3.75
Fingering 1-3/ 2.25-3.25
Knitting needles 2 sizes smaller than the size chosen above
A crochet hook to pick of stitches if you are attaching sleeves
