There was a minor correction made that did not affect the pattern directly. A new PDF has been uploaded and is currently available.

There was a typo in the short-row section which I have corrected. The current pattern version is now available.

I have tried many versions of baby socks over the years, but babies tend to have chubby little feet and those with traditional heels tend to slip off. These socks have a combination of gusset and short-row heel, giving them a deeper heel and helping the socks stay on better.

These socks are incredibly forgiving, and can be sized from newborn to about 18months by simply varying the length of the foot. For an older toddler, knit the cuff just a little bit taller (about 2 ¼ inches or so).
