Basket the Fish came to me in a dream, literally! I had a dream that my neighbor had a cute stuffed animal named Basket the Fish, and I woke up and scribbled a drawing so I could remember the design.

Basket doesn’t have any sizing options and gauge doesn’t really matter; you could make Basket the Fish with any size yarn as long as you use a crochet hook that makes a tight enough fabric that no stuffing escapes, and size the safety eyes and the yarn or thread you use for the mouth up or down to match the size of the finished fish.

My Basket the Fish was made with two colors of Bernat Blanket Brights, a 7mm crochet hook, 15mm safety eyes, and a light worsted yarn for embroidering the mouth.
