Knit a beautiful lined kep with a basket weave design and wear it many different ways.
The crown is square. The sample is knitted with Rowan Felted Tweed, shade Avocado and the lining is Drops Flora Dark Grey.

Easy to knit with a lovely textured pattern.

There is an option to knit a ribbed brim unlined hat, instructions are on page 5. Finished with a braid and tassel (optional).

Circular needle 3mm (US 2.5) a 16” (40cm) for the lining working back and forth
3.25mm (US 3) a 16” (40cm) circular needle, tapestry needle
and dpns 3.25mm (US 3) x 5 for the crown

28sts / 35rnds = 4” (10cm) with 3.25mm (US 3) in the
textured pattern
