I wanted a vest with no side seams, front band knitted at the same time as the body and all in one piece. This is what I came up with. I also wanted to use up some of the worsted weight yarn hiding in my stash! :smile:

This is just one of the many different basket weave designs available. So many to choose from!

I made this using Lion Brand Pound of Love and also using Red Heart Super Saver. Not on the same vest though.

My test knitter, Vivian C., used Red Heart Super Saver in Painted Desert. This design also looks good in variegated! So feel free to use a variegated yarn.
