This is a slouch-style hat, with a beautiful basket weave pattern. The star design at the top looks especially eye catching.

This pattern will be easy to follow for an intermediate knitter, but an adventurous beginner will be able to pick it up easily as well. Just be sure you have a cable needle.

Remember to double the yarn if you are using a DK weight! One skein of 350 meters of DK yarn will be perfect.
