Your choice of three different hat styles, all worked in basketweave stitch: a Beanie, a Cuffed Cap, and a Balaclava. Although not identical on both sides, this stitch is reversible.

Materials
Yarn
Beanie: Approximately 95 to 110 yards heavy Worsted Weight yarn
Cuffed Cap: Approximately 165 to 180 yards heavy Worsted Weight yarn
Balaclava: Approximately 240 to 260 yards heavy Worsted Weight yarn

Note: A strand of light fingering weight yarn may be held together with worsted weight yarn to “bulk up” the resulting fabric.

Needles
16” circular needle and 1 set dp needles US #8 – 5.0 mm or size needed to give gauge
16” circular needle and 1 set dp needles US #9 – 5.5 mm or size needed to give gauge
(for Balaclava only)

Note: Hat may also be worked using 2 circular needles or magic loop.
