This cowl is a quick knit and lots of fun using the basketweave stitch. If you haven’t tried using a cable needle before, this is a fun way to start!

This cowl is knit in the round, and can be easily modified if you would like to make it longer or shorter.

Yarn:

  • Worsted weight/medium/#4
  • 100g of 219yds/200m will be plenty.
  • My sample was made using less than 1 skein of Cascade Yarns Friday Harbor, colour 38

Needles:
• 4.5 mm (US 7) 14” circular needles
• 8 mm (US 11) 14” circular needles (or any length circular needles using magic loop).
• Cable needle
