Basma is a fingering weight yarn, asymmetric, triangular garter, mosaic and lace shawl.
The name Basma means translated “smile”. It´s an arabic word. I have a very nice woman of that name on my holidays in Egypt, where this shawl was knitted.
The shawl is knit in one size and you can knit the shawl in several colors (see the testknits of my testknitters). A big thank you to my testknitters, without whom this shawl was not published.

Material:
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn 100g - 400m/437yard
circular knitting needle 3,75 mm
Yarn A: approx. 90g - 360m/394y, Yarn B: approx. 60g - 264m/289y
