She can be made in a variety of colors. You can even make just a regular bat if you want.
The wings are designed to stay open and so she can hug herself.
The body and head are a one-piece design. I’m sure you can think of many ways using your imagination to turn this kitty into so many cute options!

The orange and purple bat cats are made with Sweet Snuggles lite, 7 mm hook and are about 7 1/2 inches tall.

The hot pink one is made with regular Sweet Snuggles, less than one skein, and is 11 inches tall!

I used 1 inch felt oval eyes and the example for eye placement is using 8 x 12 mm oval safety eyes. The big one has 1 1/2 inch felt oval eyes.

I tend to use a bigger hook because my tension is very tight. Use whichever hook works best for you.
