If you have never done a mitre square before, I suggest you also download “Bug’s basic mitre square” pattern.

I used 3 balls of the pink, 3 balls of the yellow and about 50g of DK white on the crochet trim. You do not have to have the trim, but it will look more like a Battenberg cake if you do!
