Part of the “Knits for There and Back” Collection: knits inspired by JRR Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” using Verdant Gryphon hand-dyed yarn.

Knitted in enchanted worsted weight yarn, these cozy fingerless mitts are designed to keep your dwarf’s arms warm and protected during battle!

Length from cuff to wrist is approximately 6.5 inches. Extra length can easily be added, but extra yarn would also be required.
Palm circumference at knuckles will fit a hand measuring 7 (8, 9) inches.

Suggested yarn:
The Verdant Gryphon Mondegreen 180 (200, 220) yards MC: There’s a Bathroom on the Right, and 6 yards CC: Seasick Asian Man

Alternate yarn: Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted MC: Steamer Trunk, and CC: Sequoia

Tutorial References for required cast-on and for Latvian braid are provided. Cabling without a cable needle is highly recommended.
