Day 3 is based on Charles-Haden Savage. Meticulous and cautious, Charles is in his comfort zone in earth tones and classic styles. His bauble is inspired by the brown and blue herringbone sweater that he wore in season 3, episode 4, The White Room.

The herringbone stitch creates a dense, tight fabric with a distinctive, interlocking V-shaped or zigzag pattern that resembles less a woven fabric more than a knitted one. Because of its tight, dense structure, the herringbone stitch has limited stretch, so you’ll be going up a needle size or 2 in order to fit Charles’s s classic herringbone sweater over your bauble!
