DESCRIPTION

On a breezy day the wind circles in the bay near my home making it the prime spot for local kitesurfers. I love to watch their colorful kites fly by over the treetops as they navigate the wind swirls.

The bayside breeze shawl is a crescent-shaped shawl featuring alternating stripes of fingering weight yarn and mohair drop stitch lace. The lace creates an airy and almost transparent fabric that allows the air to flow right through.

The bottom edging has mosaic colorwork that is both written and charted in the pattern. Finished with small tassels for a fun addition to this light and breezy shawl.

NEEDLES: US 4/ 3.5 mm: 40” / 102cm long circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. (This shawl is knit flat, however, you will need a circular needle to accommodate the number of stitches.)
