This lightweight, petite baby blanket is the just the right size for newborn photos, a car seat blanket, stroller blanket or even to be used as a breastfeeding cover / nursing coverup! Whether for your own babe, or as the perfect baby shower gift, using only basic stitches and beginner knitting techniques, you will be able to combine endless color combinations with the simple design to create an ideal blanket for any little one to enjoy for years to come!
Originally designed for the arrival of my first child- a girl!- in hopes that in the future as she cozies up with her blankey she will feel safe, loved and ever so BRAVE.

~The pattern requires ADVANCED BEGINNER knowledge of KNIT techniques & is written in standard US terminology. Full pattern support is available by message or email. All measurements are given in US. Blanket is knitted in one piece on circular needles.

Finished (& blocked) blanket dimensions:
25 by 27 ½ inches ( pattern easily adjusted larger or smaller!)

Main Materials required: ~480 yds of fine/sport/2 weight yarn (I used 4 skeins of Fair Isle Harbor yarns) & US 4 (3.5mm) circular knitting needles
