We all need time to be still and recharges. Sometime our hand need something to do while re-charging ourselves. The idea of this pattern is to sit and reflect. If you are doing this for yourself or for a friend let each section, say a pray or good thought for yourself or the friend. If you wear the socks to reflect on the good vibes of the socks.
This is a toe up pattern that works in speckles, tonal or scrappy yarn. This is a great project for any yarn sock set but also as a scrappy project. This pattern is an easy 4 row repeat. This pattern is designed for magic loop knitting but can just as easy be worked on 9 inch or Double pointed needles.
I have used EsTeresa fingering weight sock yarn (75%superwash Merino/25% Nylon) for the one pair and used left over finger weight yarn for another pair. If you use scrappy yarn 80g (+/- 280 m or 306 y) is needed for a mid-length sock. This will depend on the length of your leg on the sock. This pattern has a gusset increases, short rows heel turn and slip stich heel flap.
This pattern has 4 sizes but is easy to adjust according to your own foot. The includes for those that have wide-fit feet.
Before you start you will need the length and the width of your foot for the sock. It is a good idee to measure a sock that already fit well.
