ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Size: The pattern creates a bag that is approx. 12” high, 19” wide and 4” deep with straps that are 8” away from the bag.

Yarn: This pattern is worked with two strands of yarn held together for the entire pattern. You can either separate your yarn manually or use multiple skeins. You can use any size 4 (medium) yarn. I used Bernat Super Value. This yarn is size 4 (medium) and 100% acrylic. A skein is 440 yds / 402 m and 4 oz / 197 g. Here are the amounts of yarn required and the colors I used:
Main Color (Beige – “Topaz”) – 770 yds (2 skeins of 385 yds).
Bottom Stripe Color (Blue – “Aqua”) – 150 yds (2 skeins of 75 yds).
Middle Stripe Color (Green – “Lush”) – 150 yds (2 skeins of 75 yds).
Top Stripe Color (Fuchsia – “Rich Orchid”)* – 150 yds (2 skeins of 75 yds). For the top stripe, I used Impeccable yarn by Loops & Threads, which is quite similar to Bernat Super Value.

Crochet Hook: K/10.5 (6.50 mm)

Other Materials: Yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape, a stitch marker and pins.

Terminology: The pattern is written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
