SHORT OVERVIEW

The hat is worked in the round with a circular needle, bottom-up. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. First work rib, then work simple stockinette stitch. Pattern includes sizing from baby to adults and slouchy or beanie options.
Birds are added later using duplicate stitch method.

MATERIALS:

US 6 (4 mm) circular needles or US 6 (4mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Smaller needle: 3.5 mm (US 4) or one size smaller than main gauge needle.
