Beach Cruiser is knit top-down, in the round, in one piece, with no seaming. The top section is knit in a loose gauge with one strand, while the lower section is knit in a tighter gauge with two strands held together. The interplay of colors in Emma’s Yarn’s Beautifully Basic gives this sweater a fun, youthful feel.

Sizes: XXS (XS, S, M, L, 2XL, 3XL).

Finished Measurements: Finished bust: 27.25 (31, 34.75, 38.5, 42.25, 46, 50, 53.75)”/68 (77.5, 87, 9.5, 106, 115.5, 124.5, 134) cm; intended to be worn with little or no ease.

Yarn: Emma’s Yarn Beautifully Basic (fingering weight; 100% Merino; 438 yds/401 m per 100g), in:
(A) Endeavor:120 (160, 220, 275, 330, 395, 475, 550) yards/ 110 (150, 200, 250, 300, 360, 435, 500)m
(B) Denim: 565 (645, 770, 850, 935, 1075, 1165, 1250) yards/ 520 (590, 700, 780, 855, 985, 1065, 1145)m

Gauge: 17 stitches and 22 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch on US 7/4.5mm with yarn held double, and on US 8/5mm with yarn held single.

Needles: US 7/4.5mm, or size to obtain gauge with yarn held double; US 8/5mm, or size to obtain gauge with yarn held single; and 1 size smaller than smaller gauge needle.

Notions: 4 stitch markers, scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
