Pattern is clearly written for an elongated triangular shawl, knit with alternating sections of stockinette stitch and eyelet lace, with a garter stitch border at the lower edge.

Using a variety of increases and decreases for shaping and design, you’ll create an elongated triangular shaped shawl, with beautiful drape.

Recommended materials are 450 yds worsted weight yarn, and size 8 (24-32” circular) needles.
Sample was knit with 2 skeins of Dream In Color Classy (250 yds per skein), in color Beach Fog (#210).

Finished size, after blocking, is 78” long (across top edge), and 25” wide (from top edge to bottom point).

Required skills are casting on, knitting, purling, increasing (kfb, m1R, m1L and yo), decreasing (k2tog and ssk), and binding off.

Pattern include detailed instructions for placement of increases, with stitch counts included throughout the pattern.

Enjoy knitting and wearing this beautiful shawl, and please post photos of your finished project for everyone to enjoy!
