Knit a seaside favourite. This Beach Hut is a decorative ornament, or add a weight inside to use it as a bookend or doorstop. The beach hut uses simple stripes, combining stockinette and garter stitch for texture. The lifesaver uses short row shaping, the window uses intarsia colour-work, and chain stitch embroidery is used to decorate the finished hut.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the hut is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).
