This pattern is a great way to use up small scraps of yarn.

Based on my recent holiday to Paignton near Torquay this pattern was inspired by the pretty beach huts along the promenade. The stripes on the back reminded me of deck chairs and windbreakers. They are one of the central images of the British seaside summer holiday and this cushion is a lovely way to preserve those memories in your home.

The beach hut doors use intarsia or Swiss darning and only require 16” lengths of your scrap yarn.

When starting your beach huts chart begin with the four white stitches before the huts.
