The “Beach Please” top is the perfect top to throw over bathing suits, sports bras, or even a tank top in the warmer months if you’re looking for some coverage without having to sacrifice comfort. This works up so quickly, and is as fun to make as it is to wear.

This pattern includes instructions to make sizes small through extra large, and can easily be given length or width if you’re looking to customize it a bit.

This is an easy pattern that is suitable for even a newer crocheter. As long as you’re experienced with back post and front post half double crochet stitches, you can be successful with this pattern. There are tons of tutorials online to help along the way, so don’t be shy to try something new! There aren’t any decreases and the assembly is minimal, so this is a great place to start. Regardless of level, you are always welcome to ask questions.

You will need an 8mm hook and medium (worsted) weight yarn. I recommend a cotton blend, as that will provide the most comfort in the heat.
