This is the perfect summer sweater for casual dressing or office wear. Lacy knitting on the slightly extended shoulders elevates it from a tank top, while keeping it cool and breezy. Lacy saddles are knit for the shoulders, then the front and back are picked up and knit top down. At the underarm, stitches are cast on to join front to back and the rest of the sweater is knit in the round. There is no seaming and only the neckband and armbands need picking up to complete the sweater. This is a free pattern!
