Tranquil mornings and leisurely afternoons spent breathing the salty sea air, scouring the sand for signs of hidden treasure. A piece of driftwood here, a shell with striking patterns there, another piece of sea glass to add to the jar. The Beachcomber Cowl captures the pleasures of beachcombing with lacey patterns and glass beads that evoke flotsam and jetsam found on the beach and a seed stitch trim the texture of sand.

This cowl is worked in the round, bottom up, on circular needles. The pattern for the lacework is both written and charted.
