Beachcombing Wrap
This is a lacy rectangular wrap for machine knitting. Despite the heavier weight of the yarn used, the lacy holes and empty stitches make it feel much lighter. This wrap is ideal for a late-summer evening when a jacket would be too much but some warmth is required.
The wrap is rectangular, around 20” x 55”. There is no gauge requirement but set a tension that is suitable for the yarn you choose to use.
I used 4½ 50g skeins of yarn. I used a variegated yarn to give some colour changes but this would work well with a tonal or even a solid colour.
This wrap benefits from being blocked into a rectangular shape; it really opens up the lace.
