The storm is over, the tide is out. Long ribbons of seaweed strewn across the high tide mark beckon one to explore for lost treasures caught up in the tangled maze. Shells, drift-wood and little pieces of beach-glass ready for the picking. I have a large canning jar of beach-glass collected from many beaches in BC. Each piece brings back happy memories.

When I came across these cute Mini Sock Fade Sets from Lichen & Lace, I was inspired to see what I would be able to create. I chose Day 4 for my trial. Not bitten by the sock knitting phase yet, I whipped up this cute little scarf as the colours evoke happy memories of beachcombing for beach-glass.
With Garter Stitch borders and the Campbell River Double Wave Cable flanked with moss stitch this little number is a fun and quick knit. Light, airy, warm and easy care as this yarn is an 80/20 blend of merino wool and nylon.
