The bag is worked in the round. The beaded strips are worked separately and joined at the base and the top of the bag.

The base of the bag is 5 1/2” and the height is 8”.

The bag requires 3 balls of crochet thread, 4 spools of decorative thread and 50 grams of 5mm seed beads.

It requires intermediate crochet skills.

This design was inspired by my love for birthstones. The bags featured are ( July - Ruby ) and ( August - Peridot ). I’ve also included samples of the other months. The 1st set of samples features January through May. The 2nd set of samples features June and September through December.

The stones for April, June and October ( Diamond, Pearl and Opal ) would make a great bridal bag.

In addition to birthstones, this bag can be made in many other color combinations.
