The Beaded Rib Scarf has an interesting, reversible pattern, that looks like little beads between the ribs. The long version is super-cosy and wraps round your neck twice, and the short version can be tucked inside your coat. Instructions are included on how to adapt the long scarf pattern for a child.

The pattern is easy - all stitch patterns are created just using the knit and purl stitch. Skills needed are cast/bind on and off, knit and purl. Instructions are in English with British/US terms.

Yarn recommendations are given in the pattern, but any chunky/bulky yarn will work fine, although I always advise checking your tension/gauge - this is not so crucial for scarves as slight variations won’t matter!
