These charming little purses are worked using a slip stitch bead technique that creates a uniquely textured fabric. Ideal for storing all kinds of small treasures, these purses can hold coins, knitting
notions, stitch markers or small scissors.

They are fun to knit and a great way to use up special beads and stash yarn.

Choose between two different motifs:
Motif 1 (pink) features soft, organic shapes, while Motif 2 (green) showcases a bold, graphic pattern.

Measurements of the finished purse:
Width: 11.8 cm / 4.75 inches.
Height: 7.2 cm / 2.75 inches.

Gauge: 33 sts x 72 rows equal 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in the bead fabric, measured after washing and blocking.

Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needle or double pointed needles.

Yarn: One strand of fingering weight yarn and 2.6 mm (9/0) beads in 3 or 4 colours, depending on the motif. Preferably, use a blend of wool and plant fibres, for example linen, for added strength.

MC: 52 m / 57 yds or 13 g.

C1: 1185 (309) beads.
C2: 241 (752) beads.
C3: 230 (266) beads.
C4: – (329) beads.
