Beam Bag
The PDF includes a link to a step-by-step video tutorial to guide you through the process
About the pattern: The Beam Bag is a versatile design, perfect for both a city outing and a stroll along the beach. Its interesting construction, two size options, and the possibility of using various color combinations mean that having your own Beam Bag will bring a smile to both its owner and passers-by.
The bag is knitted with yarn held double from the bottom up. Stitches are picked up along the bag bottom edge to create the sides of the bag, which are then knitted in the round – first in a textured pattern (lower body of the bag), and later in a lace pattern (upper body of the bag). The textured and lace sections are presented in the charts. The handles and the base liner, which help minimize sagging at the bottom of the bag, are worked flat. The handles start with garter stitch and are then worked as an i-cord. The pattern includes a link to a step-by-step video tutorial on how to make the bag.
It is an ideal project for warmer days when working with warm yarns may not be comfortable for everyone.
