These mid-calf socks have two cables across the top of the sock and a small twist at the back all the way down to the heel.

The socks are knitted cuff-down with a gusset heel and a wedge toe.

Gauge: 35 stitches and 43 rounds (10 cm x 10 cm)

Yarn: 4-ply sock yarn (400 m / 100 g) in two different colors.

The pattern is written for a sock circumference between 17 and 21.5 cm (which corresponds to EU shoe sizes 28-45). I have knitted the sample with a negative ease of 2 cm, but for a more comfortable fit I would recommend a negative ease of 0-2 cm.

The pattern calls for DPNs in 2.75 mm and a cable needle, but you can also use the Magic loop technique.

The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the heel and toe and charts for the cable patterns.
