For my oldest nephew, who has been battling many illnesses over the past few months, I wanted to make him a small companion to keep him company during his recovery and remind him that his family is fervently praying for him. I asked him what his favorite animal was, and he said a dog—so a dog it was. As it turns out, dogs are also my youngest nephew’s favorite animal, so naturally I had to make him one as well.
