The Bean Sprout Bloomers are knitted from the bottom up.

When casting on for back piece, the pattern calls for “Provisional cast on” to avoid seams between the legs, but you can also use your usual cast on method.

When the front piece and back piece have been knitted back and forth, you will join the pieces together and continue knitting in the round.

The bloomers are made longer and roomier on the back by knitting short rows.
