ABOUT THE PATTERN

Beanie 03 is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a 2×2 ribbed brim before transitioning to a stockinette body.

The crown is shaped with evenly spaced knit-two-together decreases to create a smooth, rounded finish. The pattern includes two adult sizes and is designed with negative ease for a close, comfortable fit.

Gauge:
8 stitches × 12 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, blocked.

Suggested Needles:
9 mm / US 13 16”/40 cm circular needle, or size required to obtain gauge

For crown shaping:
9 mm / US 13 circular needle with approximately 40”/100 cm cable for magic loop, or your preferred method for working a small circumference in the round.
