Beanie No. 3 is a classic hat featuring a fold of double-layered twisted rib.

The beanie is intended to be worn with either a bit of extra space on the crown or completely fitted.

The hat is worked from the bottom up with decorative decreases.

Suits a head circumference of: 52-53 (54-55) 56-57 (58-59) cm approx. 20.5 (21.5) 22 (23) inches.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

3 mm US 3 circular needles (40 or 80 cm. 16 or 32 inches).

Optionally, 3 mm US 3 double pointed needles.

Remember, needle size given is merely a suggestion. Work a gauge swatch before beginning.

GAUGE

In stocking stitch using 3 mm US 3 needles.

25 sts / 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches.

In twisted rib using 3mm US 3 needles.

27 sts / 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
