The Staff of Asclepius is one of the symbols often used to represent the field of medicine. My husband, who has worked in medicine for almost 15 years (first as an EMT, and now teaching first aid and wilderness medicine), requested that I mirror the Staff of Asclepius for his beanie, and since it looked so awesome, I decided to share.
